The heart of Fotolanthropy is simple. We strive to build a community of professional photographers that use their cameras for good. With the common interest of giving back and a servant-hearted spirit, FOTOcrew members are uniting across the country as a photography community to give back to those who inspire them.
Fotolanthropy is a Non-Profit Organization that captures the real stories of real people to bring about real inspiration. We do this through professional photography to capture inspiring true stories. With each story, we give the family or individual a portrait session, a slideshow to music, a beautiful coffee book album filled with the portraits from their session and the DVD of the portrait images, as well as, a platform for them to share their story, all free of charge! The Chief FOTO Storytellers, located in Dallas, Texas also create 5-10 inspiring short films each year.
Fotolanthropy seeks to bring joy to families and individuals who have faced or are facing difficult circumstances by of giving our time and resources and providing them with lasting memories through photography. We believe that by telling their story through the creative excellence of photography we are able to honor them, as well as inspire and impact others by making the stories available for anyone to see. We feel privileged to be able to interact with the heroes in the Fotolanthropy stories and hope that Fotolanthropy will be a hub of inspiration for all.

Founded in 2011, Fotolanthropy is a Non-Profit Organization that uses photography to capture true stories of families or individuals who are facing trials to inspire and impact others. Fotolanthropy is funded by FOTOSTRAP. FOTOstrap is a fashionable camera strap for any photographer and FOTO generously donates a portion of its sales to Fotolanthropy allowing us to give more to our Fotolanthropy families.
